Reduce recurrent stroke with a PFO closure device and antiplatelet pills
This study looks at whether closing a heart opening called a patent foramen ovale (PFO) with a special septal occluder, along with antiplatelet medications, can lower the risk of another stroke. It is for people who recently had a stroke thought to be caused by a clot that traveled from the heart but without another clear source.
