This trial tests whether relaxing the esophagus with Botox (botulinum toxin), with or without an additional stretching procedure, can help people with achalasia. It is for adults who already have achalasia but cannot safely do the usual “definitive” procedures, and who are planning a routine upper endoscopy.

This study tests if combining botulinum toxin injections with radial extracorporeal shockwave therapy (RESWT) works better than injection alone for reducing leg spasticity in children with cerebral palsy. If your child has spasticity in leg muscles and is already receiving botulinum toxin, they may benefit from this additional therapy.
