Fecal transplant study for hard-to-treat C. difficile diarrhea
This Phase 1 study tests defined fecal microbiota (healthy gut bacteria) given to people with C. difficile diarrhea that didn’t go away or came back soon after antibiotics. It may help by restoring a healthier balance of gut bacteria so the infection can stop recurring.
