Brain scans in children with Williams syndrome

Who can take part

  • Be older than 5 years old
  • Be able to give assent (kids) or consent (teens/adults), or have a parent/guardian provide consent if needed
  • If you have Williams syndrome, have the expected genetic change linked to Williams syndrome (or, for the control group, have typical intelligence)
  • Be willing/able to take part in brain scan testing (MRI) if assigned to the scan group
  • Not be pregnant (if you could become pregnant, a pregnancy test is required before MRI)
