This trial tests if a heart medication called ranolazine can reduce painful muscle cramps in people with ALS. If you experience frequent cramps and meet the other criteria, this study may be an option for you.

Study of ranolazine to prevent heart muscle damage after a heart attack
This trial tests whether a medication called ranolazine can help prevent damage to tiny blood vessels in the heart after a certain type of heart attack (STEMI). You may be eligible if you recently had this kind of heart attack and had a successful procedure to open a blocked artery, but still have other blockages that can be treated with stents.
