Statin plus ezetimibe vs. statin alone after stroke

Comparing two cholesterol medicines for plaque stabilization

Early use of PCSK9i in Chinese heart attack patients
This study looks back at medical records of Chinese patients who had a heart attack or unstable angina. It compares outcomes for those who started a newer cholesterol-lowering shot (Alirocumab, brand name Praluent) plus a statin while in the hospital, versus those who only took a statin pill. The goal is to see if starting the shot early helps improve heart health.
