Who can take part
- You had a stroke or TIA within the last 30 days.
- You are 20 years or older.
- Your LDL ('bad') cholesterol was 100 mg/dL or higher after the stroke.
- You have atherosclerosis (plaque buildup in arteries).
- You are not already on a statin or ezetimibe, and you have no history of intolerance to these drugs.
- You do not have end stage kidney disease.
