Understanding muscle inflammation: adult and juvenile myositis study

DermatomyositisPolymyositisInclusion Body Myositis

Part of Bones, joints & muscles, Brain & nervous system, Skin clinical trials.

This research study helps doctors better understand myositis—a group of rare diseases that cause muscle inflammation and weakness. Researchers collect blood samples, medical history, and sometimes muscle biopsies to learn more about what causes these conditions and how to treat them better.
