Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You need to have idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (lung scarring with no known cause).
  • Your diagnosis should be confirmed using tests like lung breathing tests, chest imaging (X-ray), and CT scans.
  • You must be a patient seeking care at the Dorothy P. and Richard P. Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Disease.
  • You cannot have lung disease that is not fibrotic (not true scarring) or a non-fibrotic type of interstitial lung disease.
