CA-125 and other tests to check for early ovarian cancer risk

Who can take part

  • You are female and between 50 and 75 years old (at enrollment).
  • You’ve gone at least 12 months with no periods (postmenopausal).
  • You still have at least one ovary.
  • No current cancer and no chemotherapy or radiation for at least 12 months before joining.
  • You can return for CA-125 blood tests about once a year (or sooner if needed).
  • You can return for a transvaginal ultrasound if the study team asks.
