Study immune targets in cat and dust-mite allergic airway inflammation

Who can take part

  • You are age 18–50.
  • You do not smoke (less than 5 pack-years total, and none in the last 5 years).
  • You are willing to consent and join study interviews with the lead researcher.
  • You have allergy confirmed by a skin prick test to cat or dust mite.
  • Your breathing tests must meet the study’s cutoffs (FEV1 around 75–90% predicted depending on group).
  • You must avoid certain recent medications and illnesses (like recent asthma flare, steroid changes, antibiotics, or antihistamines).
