Who can take part
- You must be over 18 years old
- You either have stable heart failure or worsening (decompensated) heart failure symptoms, or be a healthy control
- If you have symptoms, you may have trouble breathing, fluid in the lungs, leg swelling, high neck vein pressure, or belly fluid
- Imaging (like an ultrasound/echo) must show heart failure signs such as a large heart, weak pumping, or abnormal filling pressures
- You must be able to give informed consent
