Study of liver fats and proteins in fatty liver disease

Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease

Part of Digestive system, Hormones & metabolism clinical trials.

This study measures different fats and proteins in the liver of people with fatty liver disease (often called NAFLD) who are having planned abdominal or weight-loss surgery. It may help doctors better understand what’s happening in the liver and improve future care.
