Study of tumor samples to guide treatment for childhood cancers

Pediatric Solid Tumors

This study collects and studies tissue or bone marrow samples from certain childhood tumors. The goal is to learn what’s going on inside the cancer (using molecular testing) to better understand the disease and how it may respond to treatment.

Who can take part

  • You have (or strongly suspect) neuroblastoma, osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, or a soft-tissue sarcoma
  • There is visible (gross) tumor that doctors can potentially remove (or you’re being treated and may have samples taken)
  • If you have retinoblastoma and need eye removal surgery (enucleation), you may join only if you’re not already on an active retinoblastoma treatment plan
  • You must be seen at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a partner hospital
  • You (or your legal guardian) must sign consent within 30 days of the first sample being collected
  • You must be age 25 or younger when you enroll
