Blood cells and brain development in Williams syndrome

Williams SyndromeInduced Pluripotent Stem Cell (Ips Cell)

  • Your child must have a clinical diagnosis of Williams syndrome
  • Your child must be able to have a small blood sample safely drawn
  • You and your child must be willing to sign consent forms allowing the blood sample to be used for this research
  • Your child cannot have a severe infection, serious blood disorder, or other condition making blood collection unsafe
  • Your child cannot have recently received special treatments that would change how blood cells work
