Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have had systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, or Sjogren’s syndrome
  • You have taken Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine)
  • If you are an affected participant: you already have signs of Plaquenil-related retinal toxicity
  • If you are not affected: your eye exam within the last 6 months showed no retinal disease
  • You can consent and safely provide a blood sample
