Who can take part
- Your breast cancer is early stage: tumor limited to the breast (Tis/T1/T2 up to 3 cm), with no lymph node or distant spread (N0, M0)
- After surgery, the removed edges are clear with at least 0.2 cm margin (no cancer cells near the cut edge)
- If your type is infiltrating lobular cancer or high-grade DCIS, you must have had (or will have) a breast MRI to confirm the disease is localized
- If you had DCIS, you must have had a breast MRI before your lumpectomy
- Your radiation plan must be eligible: expected to start within 10 weeks of surgery, and the target is not too large (PTV/IBR ratio ≤ 25%)
