Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old
- A neurologist has diagnosed you with essential tremor or a tremor related to Parkinson’s disease, and medicines alone are not controlling it well
- You are willing to receive radiation for tremor, instead of deep brain stimulation surgery or thalamotomy surgery
- You cannot have had radiation that affects the same brain area (the thalamus)
- You are able to get an MRI (brain scan)
- You should not have had prior thalamotomy surgery (one side DBS is allowed)
