Who can take part

  • You must be 22 years or older.
  • You must have essential tremor diagnosed by a doctor.
  • Your tremor must cause real problems in daily life, even after trying medications.
  • You cannot have other brain conditions like Parkinson's disease.
  • You need to be able to have an MRI scan (no metal implants or pacemakers, for example).
