Who can take part

  • Be an eligible age group: adult 18+, child 7–18, or patient age 2+
  • Be generally healthy (for healthy volunteer groups) or have a suspected neuromuscular/movement condition (for patient group)
  • Be willing and able to follow all study visits and stay through the full study
  • Be able to understand the study and sign a written consent form (or have a legal guardian sign for children if needed)
  • For healthy volunteers: have no history of stroke, muscle disease, peripheral nerve problems, or spine surgery
  • For patient group: have evidence of a neuromuscular disorder (not “no clinical evidence” on exam)
