Who can take part

  • You must be an adult age 18 or older.
  • You must be in generally good health with conditions controlled (like blood pressure).
  • If you have symptoms or a diagnosis, you must have a neuromuscular (nerve or muscle) problem affecting muscles or the breathing diaphragm.
  • You must be willing and able to follow all study visits and procedures for the full study.
  • You must be able to understand the study and sign a written consent form.
  • If you are healthy: you should not have had stroke, muscle disorders, peripheral nerve problems, or spine surgery.
