Who can take part
- You are an adult (over 18 years old).
- You have had 3 or more C. difficile colitis episodes in the last 12 months.
- Your blood counts are strong enough (your neutrophil level is 500 or higher).
- You do not have a current infection elsewhere that needs ongoing antibiotics (antiviral/antifungal treatments are OK).
- You are not getting chemotherapy that is harmful to cells within 14 days before the transplant.
- You are not pregnant, and you do not have certain stomach or bowel conditions (like IBD, recent stomach removal, or short gut requiring IV nutrition).
