Who can take part
- You are pregnant with twins or a single baby and have ultrasound-confirmed growth restriction (one baby under the 10th percentile, or twins with a big size difference).
- If you’re pregnant with one baby: ultrasound Doppler results suggest poor placental function, or you have low amniotic fluid.
- You must be more than 18 weeks pregnant when starting the study.
- You can safely have an MRI (no pacemaker or metal in your body that the study team cannot scan).
- You do not have severe fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia) that prevents MRI.
- You (and the babies) do not have known major genetic/chromosomal problems or major birth defects.
