- You are a girl age 10 to 13 years
- You have been told you have adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
- Your curve is in the mild-to-moderate range (Cobb angle 15–30 degrees)
- Your scoliosis is not from injury, and not from another known cause
- You do not have certain health conditions (inflammatory disease, diabetes, cancer)
- You have not had prior spine surgery
