Who can take part

  • You are a girl age 10 to 13 years
  • You have been told you have adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
  • Your curve is in the mild-to-moderate range (Cobb angle 15–30 degrees)
  • Your scoliosis is not from injury, and not from another known cause
  • You do not have certain health conditions (inflammatory disease, diabetes, cancer)
  • You have not had prior spine surgery
