Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You must be either in the infection group (confirmed or suspected infection) or the control group.
- If you are a control (not infected): your white blood cell count must be in the normal range.
- If you are a control: your temperature must be normal.
- If you are a control: you should not have symptoms like fever, productive cough, pain/irritation with urination (pyuria), or a rash, and you should not have signs of heart attack symptoms (acute coronary syndrome).
