Who can take part
- Your child must be between 0 and 17 years old (including premature babies).
- Your child must need a blood test for a planned surgery, allergy check, or other non-infection reason (healthy group) OR have suspected or diagnosed sepsis (septic group).
- Your child cannot have an infection (if healthy), fever, immune deficiency, autoimmune, metabolic, blood, or genetic disease.
- You and your child (if old enough) must sign a consent form.
