Who can take part

  • You have a brain/spinal cord (central nervous system) tumor, or cancer that spread to the brain/spinal cord, expected to last more than 1 year
  • You are scheduled to receive proton beam radiation (PBRT) for this tumor
  • You are between ages 4 and 21 (including both ages)
  • You can see well enough to use a computer for testing
  • You do not have other health problems (like certain psychiatric or developmental conditions) that would interfere with thinking tests
  • You (or your legal representative) can follow study instructions and sign the consent form
