Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older
  • You need (or will have) a vein stent placed to treat blockage in a major central vein
  • The blockage is in veins such as the iliac-femoral area, inferior vena cava, or veins in the chest/neck area (subclavian, brachiocephalic, or superior vena cava)
  • You must be willing to join the study
  • You should not have a confirmed, sudden blood clot (acute DVT) in the same side’s iliac vein
