Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- The stent must have been placed more than 6 weeks ago.
- The clot must be in a large leg vein near the groin, hip, or pelvis (common femoral, external iliac, or common iliac vein).
- The study catheter must be able to reach the clot through your vein.
- You cannot have broken or deformed stent struts, the stent must be fully against the vein wall, and not squeezed too narrow.
- You cannot have clots in both legs at the same time, or certain rare vein birth defects.
