Who can take part
- You were born very premature (about 24 to 37 weeks gestation, depending on the group).
- Baby is under 3 months corrected age at the first visit (or eligible shortly after reaching 40 weeks).
- Baby must fit one specific brain diagnosis group based on ultrasound or MRI results (bleeding/IVH, post-bleeding fluid, or other hydrocephalus-related patterns).
- There must be no concerning brain or infection findings that the study excludes (including certain brain infections).
- Some groups require MRI to be possible; if baby has implanted devices or other issues that block MRI, they may not qualify.
- Babies with certain serious heart problems or known genetic (chromosomal) abnormalities are typically excluded.
