Who can take part
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have squamous cell carcinoma in the head and neck (but not nasopharynx cancer)
- Have visible (measurable) tumor on imaging and plan to get radiotherapy alone to try to cure it
- Be able to lie flat (on your back) for the scan time
- For the second scan, your first PET-CT must show FDG-avid tumor (active uptake) with SUV at least 2.5
