Who can take part
- You must be able and willing to sign informed consent
- You must be 18 years or older
- You have finished curative (intended to remove) treatment for head and neck squamous cell cancer in specific areas
- Your cancer does not have clinical N0 neck status (meaning it should not be “no lymph node involvement” on exam/imaging)
- You have not had a neck dissection before radiation therapy
- You are considered able to undergo the planned scans and are not “inoperable” for any reason
