Who can take part
- Your average blood pressure over 24 hours is at least 130 (measured with a 24-hour monitor)
- You’ve been on the same blood pressure medicine dose for at least 30 days (no dose or medication changes)
- Your screening is close to the device procedure timing (about within the last 28 days of screening)
- You do not have known or suspected problems where the body’s blood-pressure “reflex” control doesn’t work, or nerve damage affecting automatic body functions
- You can safely stop any blood pressure medicines that directly affect the body’s “sympathetic” nerves (if you’re taking any)
