Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have either: (a) high blood pressure (top number 140-160 / bottom 90-100) and are not on medication, (b) hard-to-treat high blood pressure (on 3+ meds), or (c) low blood pressure when you stand up.
  • Your body mass index (a measure of body fat based on height and weight) is between 18 and 30.
  • You do not have high blood pressure caused by another health issue, brain problems, heart failure, or a high stroke risk.
  • You are not pregnant and have not taken part in other studies in the last 3 months.
