Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 45 years old
- Your symptoms are your first episode that could be multiple sclerosis (like optic neuritis or a spinal cord/brainstem episode) and started within 60 days
- Your MRI and/or spinal fluid (CSF) results support early multiple sclerosis, and your disability score (EDSS) is under 3
- Blood and infection screening are okay, including: HIV, HTLV, hepatitis B/C, and syphilis tests negative (within 30 days), and you are EBV-positive
- Your white blood cell count is above 750 per mm³, and you can safely have MRI contrast dye if needed
