Who can take part
- You have had one or more traumatic (injury-related) episodes of shoulder dislocation.
- Imaging shows bone loss at the front of the shoulder socket (glenoid) over a set threshold (often >20% or borderline-high).
- Your dislocation has come back even after a previous arthroscopic Bankart repair (key for the recurrent group).
- Your CT or imaging shows an “off-track” pattern with a Hill-Sachs lesion (a notch on the ball) and the socket being at risk.
- You do not have major limiting problems on imaging, like a large Hill-Sachs lesion (>40%) or advanced shoulder arthritis (grade 3).
