Testing brain scan and computer measures in young brain tumor patients

Who can take part

  • Be between 4 and 18 years old (or 12 to 30 for a specific group)
  • Have a primary brain tumor (newly diagnosed, or a posterior fossa tumor for some groups)
  • Be expected to live at least 1 year
  • Be able to take part in computer thinking tests (if you have vision limits, this may prevent participation)
  • Be able to safely have an MRI scan (for example, no pacemaker/other MRI safety issues)
  • For some groups: no programmable shunt, and you must be able to do the MRI without sedation
