Who can take part
- You are age 8 or older
- A specialist agrees you have osteoid osteoma based on your symptoms and scans
- Your pain from the osteoid osteoma limits daily life and isn’t controlled well with pain medicines
- You have not had any past interventional treatment for this osteoid osteoma
- Your doctors must be able to safely reach the tumor site with the ultrasound device or the heat treatment, and it must be more than 1 cm from the skin
- You must be able to have an MRI (and anesthesia/sedation) safely, including having no non-MRI-safe metal implants
