Who can take part

  • You have a solid tumor (like lung, breast, prostate, etc.) or multiple myeloma that has spread to your bones.
  • You have pain or discomfort in the bone area that will be treated.
  • You have not had radiation to that same bone before.
  • You do not have a current, untreated spinal cord compression at the treatment site.
  • You do not have an unstable fracture at the treatment site (if a fracture is there, it must be stable or surgically fixed).
