Who can take part
- You must have the right diagnosis: OTCD, or ASSD/ASLD, or be a matched healthy control
- You must be able to have an MRI without sedation (no “sleep medicine”)
- You must be within the required age range for your group (OTCD up to age 50; crisis group up to age 30; ASSD/ASLD up to age 30)
- You must have no MRI safety issues like metal implants or braces that can’t go in the scanner
- You (or your guardian) must be able to follow consent/assent rules and understand the study
