Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • Your spinal cord injury is classified as AIS A, B, or C (not D)
  • You must be able to be assessed with a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 14 or higher
  • You can start the cooling treatment within 24 hours of the injury
  • Your injury is from a non-penetrating mechanism (for example, not a stab)
