Who can take part
- You had a stroke in the front part of your brain caused by a blood clot
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are able to have endovascular thrombectomy (a minimally invasive procedure to remove the clot)
- You did not have significant disability before your stroke
- You do not have a body temperature below 35°C when admitted
- You can attend follow-up visits for 90 days after the procedure
