  • You are 18 years or older
  • You had a stroke (due to a blood clot) within the last 48 hours
  • The stroke was confirmed by a doctor and brain scan (CT or MRI)
  • Your stroke affects the front part of your brain, specifically the middle cerebral artery (M1, M2, or M3 segments)
  • Your stroke severity score (NIHSS) is between 6 and 25
  • This is your first stroke
