GD2-targeted CAR T-cell therapy for hard-to-remove solid tumors
Part of Cancer clinical trials.
This Phase 1/2 trial tests a genetically engineered CAR T-cell treatment called 4SCAR-GD2 for certain solid tumors that have a marker called GD2. It may help shrink tumors that have returned, spread, or can’t be removed with surgery after standard treatment.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor that is not removable, metastatic, progressive, or recurrent after standard first treatment
- Your tumor test shows GD2 “positive” on biopsy using either staining (immunohistochemistry) or a flow cytometry test
- You are between 1 and 65 years old, and can live at least 8 weeks
- Your heart, lungs (oxygen), liver, and kidneys are strong enough based on required lab and scan results
- Your blood counts are high enough (white blood cells and platelets) and low counts aren’t just from recent transfusions
- You can follow the study plan, and you (or your legal guardian) can sign consent; children also provide assent

This early-phase study tests a custom immune-cell treatment (CAR-T) that targets two tumor markers called GD2 and PSMA. It may help people whose cancer is advanced, cannot be removed with surgery, and has the right marker pattern in their tumor tissue.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR T cells) that targets the CD276 protein found on some solid tumors. It is for people whose cancer has not responded to standard treatment or has returned.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell (CAR T) made from healthy donors to fight solid tumors that have not responded to other treatments. It may be an option for people with certain cancers that show a protein called PD-L1.
This study tests a new type of cell therapy called anti-HER2-CAR-T for people with advanced HER2-positive solid tumors (like breast, stomach, or colon cancer) whose cancer has not responded to other treatments. The therapy uses your own immune cells engineered to target and kill cancer cells.
This early-phase study tests a lab-made immune cell treatment (CAR-T) that targets tumor markers called GD2 and CD70. It is for people whose cancer has spread or returned and cannot be removed by surgery, to see if the treatment can work and how safe it is.
This trial tests a new type of immune cell therapy (CAR-T cells) designed to target two markers on cancer cells at once. The goal is to help patients with advanced solid tumors where standard treatments have stopped working or aren't an option.
