Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older and can legally consent to the study
  • You are already scheduled for a standard catheter mapping procedure for atrial or ventricular rhythm problems using the Rhythmia system
  • You should not have a bleeding or clotting problem that makes blood thinner safety risky
  • You must be able to take heparin (a blood thinner) safely
  • There must not be a valve issue, infection, clot/tumor inside the heart, or other blockage that prevents catheter placement
  • You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you should not have had recent major heart events or surgery
