Who can take part
- You have persistent or long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) that your doctor plans to treat with a standard catheter ablation.
- Your age is between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have not had a heart attack, heart procedure, or heart surgery in the last 3 months.
- You have not had a stroke or heart surgery in the last 6 months.
- You do not have severe heart failure, a very weak heart pump (ejection fraction below 30%), a pacemaker or defibrillator, or blood clotting problems.
