Who can take part
- You are age 55 or older
- A doctor has diagnosed Alzheimer’s disease, and you have mild to severe dementia (CDR 0.5 to 3)
- You have significant nighttime agitation and restless legs symptoms (as measured by study questionnaires/checks)
- Your medicines are stable for at least 14 days (no recent big changes), and you don’t have signs of a sudden illness like fever or delirium
- You can swallow the study medicine and you can get around (walk with or without help)
- You have a live-in caregiver (family or hired), not just living alone
