Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis of lipodystrophy (loss of body fat)
  • Your lipodystrophy is due to genetic or acquired causes—not just temporary changes
  • You may qualify if you have gene test results showing a disease-causing variant (or supportive clinical findings)
  • You have evidence of this condition in how your body looks and/or in related metabolic (blood sugar/fat) problems
  • You are not living with HIV
  • Your lipodystrophy is not caused by a medication (not drug-induced)
