Who can take part
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer that has been there more than 1 month, at or below the ankle
- Your ulcer is not too small or too large (between 150 and 350 square millimeters) and is grade 1A or 2A
- You do not have moderate or severe infection at the start (antibiotics are allowed only if the infection still isn’t moderate or severe)
- Your foot blood flow is sufficient (ankle/toe circulation tests or pulses are clearly good)
- You can follow the study’s off-loading (pressure-relief) plan you’re assigned
- You can sign consent in writing and agree to participate
