Who can take part
- You have a thoracic aortic aneurysm (a bulge in the chest aorta).
- You may have no symptoms or you may have symptoms.
- If your aneurysm has ruptured, you must be having emergency surgery.
- You must be able to sign informed consent (agree to join the study).
- Your aneurysm tissue must be suitable for collecting study samples.
